Do I still need Maya or Blender?

Usually yes. Cascadeur is an animation specialist, so most teams build and texture assets elsewhere and bring the character in to animate, then export the motion back out as FBX.

Why is physics useful for animation?

It keeps balance believable. When you drag a hand or foot, the solver adjusts the rest of the body so the pose stays grounded, which removes much of the manual counter-posing work.

Can it clean up motion capture?
