Flourish, now part of Canva, is a browser tool for building animated and interactive data stories from templates. Instead of starting from a blank canvas, you choose a template - a bar chart race, a scrolling story, a survey explorer, a projection map - and fill it with data through a spreadsheet-style editor. Animation, transitions, tooltips and mobile layouts are handled by the template, which is why non-developers can produce work that looks deliberately designed. Publishing options include embeds, a standalone story page and exported images or video. It is a conventional visualisation product with no language-model features in the workflow.
